Deco Sauce
Deco sauce adds extra yummy-ness to your decoden projects. You can add all kinds of flavoured sauces to whipped cream, ice cream, cookies, marshmallows, macarons - anything you can think of! Any colour can be a flavour you want, like light green being mint, and there are a variety of materials you can use to achieve this look.

Puff Paint
You can use 3D puff paint that dries up as a thick coat, pink for strawberry sauce, dark brown for chocolate, light brown for caramel, etc.
Beware that when it's fully dry, you can still make little indents in it for example with your nail. So maybe not that good choice if your item is going to get smashed around a lot, although most of the time this won't be a real problem.
Some puff paint may require that you blast it with a hairdrier after it dries to get the proper 3D effect but this paint is quite heavy and can support its own weight so this isn't always necessary. You can get all different effects of puff paint from brands like Tulip or Dylon, such as Slick, Gel (slightly transparent like jello!), Metallic and Neon.
Touch: Slightly soft and rubbery.
Finish: Matte
Drying time: Fully dried within 1 day.
where to find it: Craft stores, online
store OR make it yourself
Price: Depending on the brand, it can range from cheap to expensive. Tulip brand is priced at around £1.99-£2.99 a tube.

Hot Glue Sticks
Instead of using regular, clear gluesticks for your hot gluegun, you can use coloured gluesticks! Yep, you can get them in pink, brown,
red, white, etc to make your decosauce.
Finish: Matte with a slight shine
Drying time: 30 minutes
where to find it: Online stores (etsy, ebay, ...), definitely check out your craft store too but I
have never found it in mine
Price: Quite pricey compared to regular gluesticks, around 75p-£1 a stick.

Paint
The trick is to pour the paint on your item, not
brush it on! Beware that some silicone types can't be painted so read the
description on the bottle or make a test dollop.
Finish: glossy
Drying time: a few
hours

Craft glue + paint
This is something I tried out of my
own, I never saw this before but I thought why not? Get out your white craft
glue and acrylic paint. Mix them and put them onto your to decorate pieces.
I don't recommend using this on silicon whipped cream as the glue and the
silicone won't join and you get spots. But it's okay for modeling paste whipped
cream (picture will follow)

more
